Living in a Vehicle Guide by Nate Lenahan

This book is designed mainly to help the homeless, vanlifers, preppers, campers, and travelers.

For helping the homeless: while homeless people sometimes can be a nuisance, sometimes can feel threatening, and sometimes can make an area look ugly they always are human beings that are suffering and in need of help and this book helps to convince them to not be a nuisance, not be threatening, and not make an area look ugly as well as helps them to suffer less and be at least somewhat helped.

For helping vanlifers: while they often can afford a house or apartment but just would rather live out of a van as they enjoy the lowered living expenses, being a nomad, and often like to go traveling and so are not in a desperate need of help like the homeless they still can get some good ideas about how to structure-and-manage that style of living the best from this book as well as those that choose to live out of a vehicle in the style of vanlifers but just picked a type of vehicle that’s not a van.

For helping preppers: it helps them not just select the best type of BOV (Bug-Out Vehicle) (which in most areas is a van (not a big 4x4 truck)) and equip it the best but also helps them if they just want to better equip some other type of vehicle or even just want help selecting the best emergency preparedness gear for their house or apartment.

For helping campers: camping in your vehicle is safer, quieter, and more comfortable than camping in a tent and does not require the additional purchase of a tent and some of the camping gear covered is still good to have even if you still preferred tent camping.

For helping travelers: in a vehicle people can travel with a minimal negative impact on the environment, minimal using up our limited supply of fossil fuels, and minimal financial cost compared to long plane flights or going on cruises. And it’s safer if you travel around here in the US than how safe it is in many foreign countries and in many foreign countries there is a language barrier and there isn’t 1 here at least with the vast majority of people.

Covered in this book is how to convert a van into an RV yourself (including how to construct your own cabinets and why it’s recommended that you do and how they should be designed), what types of food, gear, and other items you would want to have in your vehicle, where to park, what free services to use, what not free services to use, vehicle security, and more.

Filmmaking is “storytelling at its finest” as the events in a film quickly and effortlessly unfold right before your eyes with you seeing the exact world the filmmaker wants you to see (with the exceptions with some films due to budget or technological limitations) instead of with a book it’s not quick and not effortless and you never know if you got how the world was supposed to look right. And movies are the “common denominator” as everyone likes them when most people just aren’t into books so if you become a filmmaker you can reach everyone with your work. And the impact of films on popular culture and how people see the world is huge. And even with films not at all “based on a true story” the level of emotion people can put into them is also huge and that emotion is real emotion –– even though they know that the story is not real. And entertainment is important for mental health and movies –– when done right –– help with this because then at the very least they are helping to entertain. This book covers writing tips in general as well as common punctuation mistakes and words to never say and what words to say instead and words often confused with other words to help you to become a stronger writer since after all, people are not going to take you as seriously as a writer if you are not a strong writer and that is especially bad if you feel you have something really significant that you want to say, are trying to get a college degree (as all college degrees require some level of writing papers), or are trying to make a living as a writer.
